Cluster labs is a design and research center that was founded by a group of architects and engineers. The aim i to provide a platform for a large number of designers to find opportunities to work on projects that best fit their strengths.

The building is to provide a communal work space, along with a lecture hall and a small fabrication space.

The building site contained a tree that had a sentimental value for one of the owners, and was chosen to be a focal point of the project, where vertical circulation was to evolve around it and provide screening for the connection between the staircase, the outside and to the interior space again.
