Raw design + build joined forces with Amman Design Week 2017 by sponsoring all wood and metal work fabrication for the Crafts District, in addition to design assistance to the team throughout the preparation period.

The Crafts District consisted of a 100 meter long scaffolding and canvas canopy that was used to provide weather control, hosting the Crafts Shops and the Mouneh Table, and surrounded by platforms that accommodated the bread making and other hand-making stages.

Along the perimeter was also the Lantern Canopies. 6 gathering, workshop and food modules were fabricated of wooden beams and canopies made of 10,000 disposable plates.
