Al Mosawi worked as a writer and critic in Al Siyasah Newspaper and Al Watan News Paper in Kuwait between 1973 - 1982. He published many studies and art related articles about the arabic modern art and pioneer arabic artists. His publications in various topics spread across the arab world in Al Arabi, Kuwaiti magazine and Arabian Arts Magazine (London). Up until 2012 Al Mosawi's work was exhibited in private galleries and art shows around the world: Montreal, Toronto, Alberta, New York, London Amesterdam, Amman, Kuwait, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Morocco and Sharjah.• Rousseau et Vermette scholarship, artist in residence, The Banff Centre; Banff, Alberta, Canada.
